SIM Card Registration Extended to July 25, 2023
It seems like government gave in to public clamor via telcos' appeal and extended the SIM registration deadline by another 90 days since national SIM registration is still below 50%. Prior to today the DICT has stood pat on keeping the April 26 deadline, even though the SIM Registration Act allows the government to extend this for 120 days.
So for those who are yet to register their SIM cards, take this 90-day extension as an opportunity to do so to avoid registration congestion due to cramming...
Cheers !!!
