UPDATE: SIM Card Registration Extended to July 25, 2023. While the April 26 deadline has just been extended for another 90 days to July 25,2023 let us not wait again until the last minute to do so... ;)
----------
This is just a just a friendly reminder to register your SIMs on or before the 26th of April as mandated by RA11934 known as the SIM Card Registration Act. For those who have not yet registered their SIMs, the information contained herein could help guide you through the process with links towards SIM registration sites for the different telco providers.
As announced by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) on April 19, 2023 the DEADLINE for SIM card registration would NOT be EXTENDED, despite calls from various groups to do so since registered SIM cards were still below 50 percent of the total subscribers nationwide.
“[DICT] has received and acknowledged the request of Public Telecommunication Entities (PTEs) to extend the SIM registration period pursuant to Republic Act 11934 or the SIM Registration Act. However, at this point, there is no extension of SIM registration,” the DICT said in a statement posted on its Facebook page.

NOTES :
- Since December 27, 2022 all SIM cards are on DEACTIVATED mode and have to be registered.
- After the April 26, 2023 deadline, unregistered SIMs will be deactivated... however... as per the National Telecommunications Communication (NTC) :
- "Deactivated subscriber identity module (SIM) cards after the April 26 registration deadline may still be reactivated within five days after that date," the National Telecommunications Communication (NTC) said Friday. This gives a final chance for SIM card owners who failed to enroll their details within the registration period to keep their mobile numbers.
